Psychedelic Monster Limited Edition T-Shirt
Numbered Limited Edition of 50
B-25 Mitchell, N6578D Psychedelic Monster was the highly memorable aerial camera ship used for the 1969 film 'Battle of Britain'.
The nose, tail and waist gun positions were used as camera positions, whilst another camera on an articulating arm was mounted in the bomb bay for sweeping panoramas.
The garish paint scheme was to allow the participating fighter pilots to line up with the Monster as co-ordinated by the aerial director from the former mid-upper turret.
Based on an original painting by Paul Couper with permission.
